Slow and Steady Wins the Race

Just wanted to share a bit of loveliness from our universe with you all today….it really is worth stepping away from our thoughts and putting our hands in the air and waving them like we just don’t care. That is, sometimes we can get  caught up in our thinking and miss the beauty all around and miss celebrating and acknowledging it. It can be good to photograph or record, in some way, things of beauty and really tune into the detail.  This way, you are living in the moment before you and not worrying about the past or future. God is only in this moment, he’s gone from yesterday and tomorrow’s not here yet.

Took these photos during a visit to Dubbo (western NSW, Australia) , on a trip to the Outback. You Gotta love Mother Nature. How gorgeous are these creatures and how varied, in look, pace, aggression, movement, colour, breeding. Have a look around and wave your hands in the air at all the beauty there is. Or if you don’t wish too look silly, just try a big smile!  Have a happy, blessed day :))))

Thanks for your exciting post. I have just finished to talking with my daughter in London. She returned a few hours ago from her Sth African safari. So enthralled with her experiences – says she has not felt so close to God since her Sth America trip when staying in an eco lodge. (“Grace builds on nature” Fr de Mello quote that our old PP used in his talks!) The wild animals are so huge, awsome and beatiful too. Amazing how God’s creation comes to perfect harmony. Noone was attacked even though the walking safari was within 2 metres of a lion eating its kill, mother elephants flapping their ears and grunting at the walkers.
Back to your bloggs – you have a wonderful way of expressing events and taking photos. Thank you again, and keep on writing. M

    • Thanks so much Maria. I’m so happy to hear about your daughter’s experience. How wonderful it spoke to her at such a level and it does make sense….how can you look at such creations and not find a creator at work. Thanks for your ongoing support. Love u heaps my friend.
